So....

....you've gone again then? Disappeared? Without a trace or a warning?

Why is it that in spite of the fact that a large part of me knew this was coming, it has still taken me by surprise?

And in the second of my posts that will only stay for a little bit of time and then go poof -

communications break down

Not that I'm always completely diligent about blogging daily but I just thought I'd mention that in all likelihood, this may be a very thin week from me.

now I must get some sleep - very tired and many hours to go....

It's all a question of ratings...

TV people are a breed apart. I'm not sure what breed that makes them but if I had to equate it with dog breeds I'd have to say poodles.

Those of you who know me, know what this means.

(Those of you who don't, if you go to the "what I love" post down there and find the part that references dogs - that'll probably point ya in the right direction.)

And another serendipitous thing...

I was very nice to a gentleman tonight at my wee part time job (where I am an usher, I ush) and let him sit in the box seats (usually reserved but not on a night when it's general admission). So it wasn't really a big deal - he was allowed but he actually asked for permission and I gave it. Afterward, he came over and thanked me and said if there's ever anything he can do for me, let him know, and gave me his card.

Why is this so serendipitous you ask?

Well, his card revealed him to be employed in a field I have recently begun courting as my own, at perhaps the most impressive venue for such things in our fair city...

and - he was cute.

Serendipitous Synchronicity

Today I met Pat, who believes in synchronicity and people being "lucky" and drawing in the luck to them and such things... and although she's a little loopy (in an endearing way), as I told her my story and her enthusiasm mounted, I began seeing things differently. Instead of feeling overwhelmed and stressed about certain upcoming events, and recent career changes, and my "life choices" in general, I began to see them a she was seeing them - as a series of serendipitous happenings, one leading to the next and to the next until it seems like everything is starting to come together. And with continuing momentum even! Her postivity and enthusiasm over MY life was suddenly contagious and I was unable to wipe the smile off my face, even long after the conversation was over. I am suddenly more than fired up to face this week. And for whatever comes next.

I'm lucky after all!
