Relative weight

A recent discovery: Sometimes when I am chatting on MSN it seems necessary to make the window full screen size. It's not that the conversation itself is so important - just sometimes it twists and turns in ways that make me want to see more of it, to look back at where we were a few moments before without using the scroll... and maybe because he's important to me. And it had been far too long. So I wanted to see as much of him as I could... even if it's just words there on the screen.

Marshmallow Fluff

I am feeling rather bipolar today in regards to the weather. I still think that it should be too early for snow shovelling and car scraping, too soon to cancel travel plans due to the slickness of the roads, and much much too early for the Christmas lights that already hang on Jasper Ave.

But today, the perfect fluff of white that coated my backyard was just begging for snow angels. The sun shining above made the day a perfect Christmas card view and I found myself prematurely humming, then singing loudly in my car, the strains of Walking in a Winter Wonderland.

But I still miss my open toed shoes.
