update: Life is good.

Things are good. It's strange to have my baseline so totally different than it was three months ago. Most days are good. Which may explain my derth of blogging - seems I need to be in some sort of chaos to write alot. Who knew?

Things are changing. My job is changing...my professional life, I guess, is changing. New things are happening which will be challenging and fun and challenging ... and for once I am not entirely daunted by the possibilities. For the first time in a long time it's mostly exciting.

Things are happy. Friends are having babies and getting married. There is a new wee Newfoundlander to spoil. And parties to plan for the bride. And all the other stuff that summer entails.

Things are normal. It's odd how the things that have made me happiest of late are a) the return to my favorite part of summer activities, my summer routine and b) all of us around *that* table in *that* pub, the biggest collection of "us" that has been there in a very long time. Nothing special happened. It was just nice.

It's all good.

Now if someone with a backyard would just have a barbeque everything would be perfect!!
