On paper, we should be the best of friends. It's odd to me that we don't really like each other.

Hi Ho 2006

So here we are then, another year has passed. I feel like I should be writing the obligatory post full of something special to mark the year end. A best-of list, or some resolutions, or something.... but coming back to work after the holiday didn't feel much different - same worries and stresses, unfinished projects to get back to. All combined with the hankering to get back into my routine and see more of my people. Sort of the same old, same old.

But I guess this is as good a time as any to make some changes for the better. Taking a yoga class with a couple of my girls, which is both built in together time and hopefully a remedy to some of the stress. Brought my skis back so I can enjoy Alberta winter (if we ever have any). Trying to start off a tad more organized here at work, and to weed out some unnecessary items at home (karma hates clutter after all, and really - if I haven't worn it since I moved here chances are I never will). Little things really. Things I've been "meaning to do". Small steps. Why not take them now? Like I said it's as good a time as any.
