odd homecoming

So my restful holiday came to a rather abrupt end with a mind-numbing and protracted trip back. (unscheduled overnight in the Toronto Hilton - which was sadly not as appreciated as a night in the Hilton should have been but I had things to do damn it!)

Then straight to work at a Casino during which I realized that my ability to count is inversely proportional to the amount of tired I am.

A rough 7 hours of sleep, and the realization that my joints are old, later, here I sit at work feeling the same bogged down and running behind feeling I felt two weeks ago.

Combine this with the conflicting desires to hibernate in my apartment that I missed more than I realized and spend copious amount of time with the friends who I missed (and knew that I would miss).

that's it. that's where I'm at right now. all that with a limp thrown in.

I think...seeing as my friends will be split into several groups in several locales for New Years Eve, I would like to do something the night before New Years. No pressure, just something fun. Perhaps involving dancing and wearing some of the new clothes I have. Yeah, new clothes and dancing. That sounds good.
