Note to self:

Next year, when planning the near-to-Christmas time remember just how much you'd rather be hanging out with friends or shopping without a purpose or cuddling down in flannels with eggnog or any number of relaxing and satisfying soul enriching activities, instead of being buried in work you need to catch up on before you go home for the holidays.

Remember this and plan accordingly. You want to be the right kind of busy this time of year after all.
