He reminds me of you.

This one with the laughing eyes, the obvious (yet somehow endearing) ego, the absolute (and likely well-earned) comfort in his own skin. A fellow writer, he has similar skills (and for some reason, I am sure he has similar skills). A mentor of the "troubled kids", a big hit with the ladies, an easy flirt, a strong shoulder. It was weird to come upon this realization at the same time as this rediscovering of you.

I wonder if I'll see you again. It seems unlikely but somehow... at this moment it feels inevitable.
