Forgotten phenomena

Friday - you could see my breath while we walked beside the water. Not because it was cold (it wasn't) but because the humidity was so high that the moment my breath hit the air it condensed with the fog into mist upon the mist that was already there. With each exhale I added to that which surrounded us.

Saturday - you could see maybe 100 feet from the deck of our boat. We could have been going in circles - what normally would have been within sight of the shoreline. We couldn't know. We were enveloped in the grey, isolated form everything save the churning surface of the water. Luckily the dolphins came to visit us, in our pocket of grey. We would not have seen them otherwise.

Sunday - you could see forever. Blue upon blue for as far as the eye could see. (Facing East for a change) Sparkling diamonds at the crest of each wave as the sun shone down and bounced towards us.

So many moods there. So many faces the ocean has to show.
